Good news: from early April, we will also be opening the Charm Bar in Utrecht, in our store at Lijnmarkt 33 in Utrecht City Centre. So soon you'll not only be able to make jewellery in Amsterdam, but also take part in a jewellery workshop in Utrecht. (Book your spot now!)

In our store on Hartenstraat, you'll find our workshop space downstairs: a specially designed area where you can make your own jewelry during a creative and personal experience.
Besides Amsterdam, you can also visit our jewelry store in Utrecht, located at Lijnmarkt 33 in Utrecht Center. Here, the Charm Bar is located within the store itself, allowing you to design and create your own jewelry right in the middle of the shopping experience.

Whether you prefer minimalist or colorful and eye-catching, there's a wide range of beads, charms, and other materials to choose from. Our stylists are ready to help you design and create your own personalized piece of jewelry.
Reservations are required for the Charm Bar at The Urbanista to ensure you have a spot at our creative table. You can easily choose a time slot (free of charge) using the online booking system on our website. You'll immediately see available times and can secure your reservation in just a few clicks.

Our stylists will guide you step by step, so you leave the shop with a handmade and stylish piece of jewelry. Whether you're here for a creative afternoon with friends or just some me-time, in 90 minutes you can create something unique that's completely yours!
The prices of a jewelry workshop at our Charm Bar depend on the type of jewelry you choose to make, the beads, and the materials you use, such as charms, beads, stainless steel items, etc. Below you'll find a general overview:
Link chain or bracelet: The base of a link chain or bracelet costs between €21.99 and €26.99, including the clasp and extension.
Charms: You can customize the link chain with various charms. These cost between €3.99 and €12.99.
Beads: You can also accessorize the necklace with all kinds of beads, from glass to natural stone. Prices range from €0.50 to €3.99.
Earrings: We offer various sizes of hoops from €9.99 to €14.99. Perfect for mixing and matching with our beads and charms!
Bag charm: A basic keychain costs €4.99. You can then customize it with fun beads and charms.
Phone cord: To make a phone cord, use a mounting plate made of steel wire for €2.99 (€3.99). Chunky beads can be strung onto this for a trendy look.
Booking for our workshop is free. At the end of the workshop, you can pay for your creation in our shop.
The jewelry workshops at The Urbanista's Charm Bar are small-scale and personalized. A maximum of four people can participate per time slot. This allows us to give everyone ample attention and guidance during the design and creation process. If you'd like to join us, please book a separate time slot in our booking system.
Please note that bringing additional people is not permitted, even if they are not actively participating in the workshop. This is to ensure the tranquility, space, and quality of the experience for all participants.

You can cancel your reservation at the Charm Bar free of charge up to 24 hours in advance. Cancellations can be easily made by email or phone. We understand that plans can change, and we're happy to work with you.
Are you unable to attend at the last minute (less than 24 hours in advance)? Please contact us by phone (during opening hours). This way, we can offer your spot to someone else, ensuring the workshop experience remains optimal for everyone.

Our Charm Bar in Amsterdam is located in our store in Hartenstraat.
Public transport:
From Amsterdam Central Station, take tram 2, 12, 13 or 17 to the Paleisstraat stop. From this stop, it's a 5-minute walk to our store.
From Amsterdam Central, you can also take metro line 52 towards Zuid. Get off at the Rokin stop and walk for 10 minutes, past Dam Square, to our store.
Car:
Are you coming by car to our Charm Bar in Hartenstraat? Please note that parking in the center of Amsterdam is limited and expensive. We recommend parking at Q-Park Europarking (Marnixstraat 250), which is approximately an 8-minute walk away.
You can also use ParkBee locations nearby (reservations possible in advance) or APCOA Parking Prins & Keizer. Street parking is available, but expensive and often busy.
For a more affordable option, you can park at a P+R location and travel the last part by public transport.

Our Charm Bar in Utrecht is located in our store on Lijnmarkt.
Public transport:
Our store is only a 10-minute walk from Utrecht Central Station. Walk through Hoog Catharijne towards the city center and follow the signs to Vredenburg or Oudegracht. From there, you'll quickly reach Lijnmarkt.
Car:
Are you coming by car to our Charm Bar in Utrecht? Parking in the city center is limited and paid. We recommend parking at Q-Park La Vie (St. Jacobsstraat 1), which is approximately a 5-minute walk away.
Other options include Interparking Hoog Catharijne or Springweg parking garage. Street parking is available, but often busy and expensive.
